How the numbers on this site are calculated

Here is the math behind the calculator and Rachel R. chart, including what each number does and does not include.

Use the calculator for scenario planning, not forecasting. It multiplies the selected subscriber count by a user-selected lifetime value, subtracts the assumed 20% platform fee, and shows a range 15% below and above that base result.

Calculator formula

Subscribers × selected LTV × 0.80 = base net after assumed platform fee

The low estimate is the base multiplied by 0.85. The high estimate is the base multiplied by 1.15. These values do not include agency fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, paid traffic, production costs, contractors, or other operating expenses.

Example: 400 subscribers × $42 × 0.80 gives a $13,440 base. The displayed planning range is $11,424 to $15,456.

Where the $42 comes from

$42 is the working average TNR uses for total fan value per subscriber across the records available to the team. It includes subscription revenue and additional fan spend before the platform fee.

The underlying creator records and individual transactions are private, so the website cannot publish the full dataset. Move the calculator anywhere from $10 to $50 if you want to test a more cautious or more ambitious assumption.

Why you see a range

Fan value moves from month to month, so the calculator shows 15% below and above the center estimate. The range is there for planning. It is not a statistical forecast.

How Rachel's month is shown

Rachel R. recorded $25,141.32 after the platform fee across the 30-day period shown. The chart keeps every daily earnings and subscriber point from that month.

The dates roll from Day 1 to Day 30 because her original account statement and calendar dates are private.

What the calculator leaves out

The estimate does not subtract taxes, agency fees, production costs, contractors, paid traffic, refunds, or chargebacks. It also cannot know the quality of your audience or content before the work starts.

Rachel's month is a past result. The calculator is a planning tool. Neither is a promise about what another creator will earn.
